Softball

While we don't have a DYN Softball SIG, we do have Senior Softball on Cape Cod. Rather than the DY Newcomers Club sponsoring its own softball league, the Cape Cod Senior Softball League is the same concept, having the capacity to run leagues and tournaments. The CCSSL is in its 39th year. It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the goal of providing fun, recreational and/or competitive exercise.

The Red Sox equipment truck has left Fenway Park for spring training in Florida. Can softball season on Cape Cod be far behind?

You’ve moved to the Cape but you loved playing baseball back home. Or, you moved to the Cape and you pledged to be more active. Or, you always wanted to be a Babe Ruth, but never had the time or energy to try.  There is a group for you.

The Cape Cod Senior Softball League is organized to fit the bill. The CCSSL offers male, female, and coed teams, organized into divisions based on age and ability.  For men, the minimum age is 50…until.., and for women, the minimum age is 40.

The Cape Cod Senior Softball League is accepting new registrations for team play. While teams are developed over the spring, there is always room for interested people throughout the spring and summer to help fill roster vacancies.
